ONE OF HER FIRST HOSPITAL PICS

HER FIRST VALENTINE'S PICTURE

And now a birthday for a princess. Whatever do you buy? I am going to have a busy next few months as 3 of my little princesses are having birthdays. Next weekend will be Avery's turn. Avery is our miracle. Babies are all miracles, I realize that. We prayed for all of our babies to be born healthy and happy. The Lord hears our prayers, this we know. But, we all prayed really hard for Avery's birth. We prayed long and hard for years. For all the years the doctors said there would be no babies for Avery's mom and dad it just made us pray harder. Then, well then you know what happened. And we prayed even harder! Everyone who knew Avery's mom and dad prayed hard too. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, strangers. Then it happened. Lots of reasons to be happy for her birth. And here she is. Next weekend we'll be having fajitas, birthday cake and lots of presents and watching our own present from HEAVEN.

We are now within one month of the
March for Babies
at the University of Houston
Sunday, April 27th
Starts at 9am
I am always proud to say I have 6 grandchildren. Four of them live on earth with their blessed parents but two of them live in Heaven with our Heavenly Father. It was a day that none of us want to relive in anyway. But, then again it was a beautiful day that we held their little peaceful bodies in our arms. They were beautiful little twin brothers who we still love and think about everyday. God has helped us in the last 4 years. He has taught us some valuable lessons. He has brought some of us closer to Him and others still deal with hurt, and rightfully so, and others of us to study more to find answers to "why us?". But, he is still guiding us, teaching us, and holding us in the palm of His hands.
We can't go back and magically change history on that day. I've wished a million times I could. But, we, as an entire family plan to do what we can to honor Brock and Brody Allen. They will not leave our hearts ever. It is because of this that we are raising money and planning to walk as a family in this year's MARCH OF DIMES...MARCH FOR BABIES. Just as I believe in the power of research in medicine for other diseases, I believe the power of research to help prevent premature births. Do your part. Find a local March of Dimes organization and see what you can do to help. Or log onto their website and donate what you can! Some precious family is counting on you. We have a precious family friend that was just admitted to the hospital today threatening to give birth to her twins at only 24 weeks. Same scenario as ours! Please pray for her and continue to pray for us and other families that live our lives forever changed by little missing smiles.

Not everyone is suited for small town life. I should know. I have spent more than 1/2 my life in a small town. I love it. It was a great place to grow up, a great place to raise my children, and now a great place to "do nothing". But, I was especially reminded of all the differences in my life vs. "city" folk this weekend. My town celebrated it's annual "whingding", festival, brawl, whatever you choose to call it this weekend. Complete with carnival, food booths, Main Street parade (traffic stops for 4 hours ), craft show, I don't really arrange my schedule around it but I do like to spend a little time down at the park on the Saturday of the event to visit with OLD friends, eat some great food, and people watch. AMAZING the strangers that turn up when the park lights turn on! There were more people out there than are populated in the entire town. There is a group of people that work year round to make this event happen and dedicate themselves to it totally! I don't believe in a lot of things that go on out there and I don't financially or physically make it happen but it has been going on for decades now and my little opinion doesn't matter! So, I just look for the fun part. You know I can make fun out of anything!

Small town people are definitely a different kind of people. You have to have a different mindset then city people. And it's not all bad. It is rather of "a what's good for you is not necessarily good for me" type of mindset. I've mentioned before that my children are all in cities now. I have found that people are not usually patient in the city. No offense to my city friends. People honk at you in the city and it doesn't usually mean "HEY GIRLFRIEND!" The traffic in the city drives me NUTS. Literally. Why? Because, I honestly used to leave my house for work 10 minutes before work and never stop unless the chickens were out on Gasly Street. I was there even then before the school bell. The only time I was late was when there was a train and then all the buses and half the school children were waiting too. And waving at me out the back of the bus window. If I am not at the post office to check my mail they usually call to check on me. If I forget my checkbook at the grocery they let me run home and get it. ( I know this to be true ) It takes forever to go to "town" because you have to stop and visit with everyone. I could go on and on.

Our town is being surrounded by progress on the west side. It has for years now. But, it seems to slowly creep up to a certain distance and stop. That's ok with me. Now I just don't have to drive hours to the city like I used for anything that wasn't classified as a necessity. It's about 20 minutes to a little progressiveness known as Wal**m*art. . We still only have one grocery store here though and it's family owned. Who needs a super store? Yes, everyone knows EVERYONE'S business. Sometimes it is very A.N.N.O.Y.I.N.G. But just let something bad happen to you. Or let a tragedy strike. And people swarm to help. And they are genuine. Everyone knows everyone. And if someone gets a new car? OMG everyone knows. It might even make the weekly paper. There was a headline in one of the columns this week about someone's medical test being NOT cancerous. You gotta love it.

We have what is honestly known as the best bbq around, a railroad hub, a major river, a Christmas tree farm, one fast food place, a state park, a little "modern" airport landing strip ( for those that want out quick ), a historical district, ONE main street and stop light, the friendliest people in the world, right now movie stars galore filming, 2 family doctors, you got the idea? But then we have these to look forward to every spring.

Years before I ever even dreamed of retirement I always used to envy this happy fellow who had retired years before. He always said, "Everyday is Saturday when you are retired." I couldn't even imagine. But, it is true. Retirement may not last forever for me but while it does I can guarantee that everyday will be Saturday.

Joys today:

Clean sheets
Laundry folded and put up
Parents over for dinner
Slept late
Cleaned minimal just to say I did it

WORDLESS

WEDNESDAY.
To this I say, "DUH!"

This house was GQ Easter Day. Neena's babies were decked out in the finest Easter duds! Aren't they just A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E. I love these children with every breath of my being. Are they beautiful or what? Reid looks like he was ready to preach or lead singing!

Princess Avery had a wonderful Easter egg hunt until a bully stole her egg and broke her heart. It was a good thing Neena wasn't there. Neena does not like BULLIES. Her daddy was close by to protect her though. Isn't she beautiful?

Tiny Princess Jaxon had a wonderful Easter in a field of eggs and chocolate bunnies.

To love is to make one's heart a swinging door.
My heart will always be a swinging door and my porch light always on for these children who I love with all my heart.

If this wasn't so funny and true.........it would be sad. I honestly think sometimes that Candid Camera follows me around. Sorry this is long. But, just typing it made me feel ALOT better!
A church van and 5 private vehicles left the 'ville Friday around noon to take 24 of our youth to participate in the Central Texas Leadership Training Conference. Ages 3rd grade through High School. They had been preparing for months for Bible Bowl, song leading, art displays, puppet shows, Bible readings, and on and on. They had worked so hard and were hoping to come back with lots of fun memories and gold medals! We have some talented kids in our group and they all did great and we did come home with lots of awards. So many of our adults, not me, had worked with these kids for months. I take NO credit for the talent there. I went as a chaperone and to help herd kids. Which I used to be quite good at. Maybe half of our group of participants were our "van kids". I love our van ministry and we have some kids that I think we are really making an impact on and then we have some that.....oh well, that is a whole different post. And I need an attitude adjustment on that one. Anyway. These kids had NEVER been out of our little town much less to a hotel. Much less to a very nice hotel. Or eaten in restaurants. They, once again, taught me a lesson in blessings. Taking things for granted. And paying it forward. And just plain old compassion. OUR 10 rooms that we had reserved in January were not ready when we arrived at 3. Hundreds of other churches were all showing up too and they all seemed to be getting in their rooms fine. We "bunked" down in the lobby with all our suitcases and kids and waited. And waited. At 5:30 we were all getting restless and hungry. We called pizza delivery and just sat on the floor and had dinner in a pile ...waiting. At 6:30 our rooms still weren't ready. WHAT???????? Yes, we were all checking with managers, etc. and trying to be Christian about this little clerical error but HELLOOOOOO we have children that are fixing to demolish this hotel. We can only hold them still for a while! Then the first of the crisises.......someone's stomach hurt. And she looked flush. Dizzy. Nauseated. And she felt warmish with fever. And we were all in the lobby waiting. We finally convinced the hotel to give us at least one room so we could put the "sick" one somewhere by a restroom and she could lie down. And we waited some more. Slowly, one little group at a time would get a room. Then at 9:30 ( PM !!!!!!! ) the last group got some type of room with fold out cots and chairs. Yes, they refunded us that room at least. This was the HILTON guys. A very nice upscale hotel. The conference is conveniently located in huge conference center of the hotel. But, the service left alot to be desired......Anyway. Notice I said crisis # 1.
After we had finally gotton our own personal groups to go to our rooms Friday night I had trouble settling my 3 "adopted for the next 24 hours" teenagers down. They were amazed by all the things that were in the room. The coffee pot.......the hair dryer in the bathroom....the big tv.....the fancy furniture......and on and on. Thank goodness a good movie was on and we finally settled down in our beds to watch it. And at about 11 or so I finally heard the sounds of sleeping kids.......So, I felt safe to fall asleep too. Sometime in the wee hours of the morning around 5:30 AM, we were awakened to what I can only compare to the horn of the angel beckoning the end of the world. We all four sat straight up in bed and I was as confused as they were ! The most HORRIBLE siren and recorded message was blasting out of box over my side of the bed telling us ......." This is an EMERGENCY ALERT. This is NOT a test. Please immediately evacuate your room and move to the nearest stairwell on your floor. Do not attempt to use the elevators. REPEAT THIS IS AN EMERGENCY SITUATION...." and the siren wailed and screamed and honked. And the voice kept on and on....... And we scuffled around our room like the 4 stooges wondering what to do next. I used my best girl scout face and tried to control the screaming sobs in the room ......... I grabbed my purse, my phone and the room key. The girls grabbed their sheets/pillows since we were in our jammies. We were the first ones out in the hall. Slowly, people started emerging from their rooms with confused looks, sleepy looks, and comments like, "Is this real?" We all started heading down the stairs. And down. And down. Did I mention that we were on the SEVENTEENTH 17th FLOOR??????? And I was herding 3 hysterical country girls who had never been to the city and they thought they were going to die. We made it down. Trust me I had my doubts at about floor 10 that I was going to make it myself! And by the way it was a false alarm ( thankfully ) . A faulty circuit or something. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Needless to say, no one went back to sleep after that. It was like the marathon and I didn't even get to train for. So, my little jog down the stairwell resulted in this...........and not just me either. By noon the next day all the adults were limping! OK. I just realized that it is NOT my shins that hurt but my calves. I always get them mixed up! Shins front...calves back fatty part. Thank goodness for the fatty part. So.........
But.........my sweet daughter in love brought me the last 2 seasons of Gilmore to watch so that I can finish my GG addiction. Since she is a coach she is accustomed to leg injuries of this type, she has ordered me to the couch for the next few days with a list of exercises and orders to watch the movies and rest my legs. So, being a compliant patient and mother I said, "OKEY DOKEY!"
But, seriously. I think God is going to help me find another way to minister besides this. Or else I am going to have to have some SERIOUS lessons in PATIENCE. SERIOUS.

My Neena headed to Abilene early in the week anticipating to snuggle and play outside with me! And the snow started to fall. Big beautiful flakes. Big blowing winds. And thunder? I didn't know it thundered when it snowed. The cold day and snow here stuck on the yard keeping us in and watching from the big glass door.

Then we ate a BIG yummy breakfast and I played in the highchair by the picture window and watched some MORE snow while Neena washed dishes. Petey and Tex, the family guard dogs, were romping and running through the snow drifts and flakes like they were crazy. It made us laugh! It was also very tasty and I ate every bite. I really made a big mess. Neena tried to feed me as fast as you can!

So, then we decided to play in the bathtub to clean me up! I wanted to show Neena how I can stretch and eat my toes. I think I am going to be a ballerina like my cousin Macy. Cousin Avery can do this too and we are going to practice, practice! During playtime with all my toys was so much fun. Neena never says no. She says "WHATEVER YOU WANT DARLING." And then I snuggled warm under my towel.

Then I got to watch a little TV. The Backyardigans is my favorite show and keeps me still the whole show. Neena likes it too and we sing. Then I got out all my favorite toys to play with. I even found my Daddy's hat! Neena thinks I am so funny!

Then we played a little dress up. It is fun to play that with Neena.

We were so tired that I felt my big brown eyes get very heavy.
Pretty soon Neena said, "It's nappy time" for pretty princesses. So, I found my favorite fingers and it wasn't long before I was sound asleep. But, that's ok because when I wake up, we are going to do it all again.

Several weeks ago I decided to tackle a project that I had been putting off. Like a really long time. Like long before most of you that read this blog were born. I decided to totally, as in take everything out, clean my closet. The last straw was when I found the dress I fondly called my "going away dress" from my wedding day. Although it is/was totally back in style it was/ is totally not my size anymore.

I wish I had a before picture. But, I never would have posted it even if I had. It would have been way too embarassing. Few, very few people have had the guts to open that door. Me included. Once a month or so, I did what I called "straightened it up". This basically entailed hanging up things off the floor or if it was too bad just making it all a couple of loads of wash.

It took me all day to unearth stuff from the depths of my closet. I was in amazement how it all got in there. I had already decided that I would NOT even think about putting stuff back in there that I was not absolutely sure that was:

a: still within my size range

b: was made within this decade

c: true to my generation ( whatever that means)

I started stuffing "trash bags" for Goodwill. If I paused to think about something it made it harder to put in the bag. So, I didn't pause very often. By nightfall, I had the entire room filled with trash bags. And a pretty empty closet as compared to the morning view.

I will admit though that the colorful collage that used to be my closet now seems to have a theme going on over on the skirt / dress side. A five or so foot pole with 1 1/2 feet of drab. Actually rather depressing. What is up with all that black and brown? I have colorful tops but nothing to wear them with! Several times a week I wish I would have looked in those trashbags a little closer. Or maybe it is time for a day spent thrift shopping! I love a good thrift shop.

Purses. Shoes. Shirts. Skirts. Totes. Capris. I am a self professed and confessed shop a holic. I love love love love new clothes. And stuff. I remember when I worked I used to like to see how long I could go without wearing the same thing. I love to mix and match outfits and create new looks. But, I didn't work anymore and this just seemed to be a good time to clean it out. And start anew. With a different type of wardrobe. Now before I buy something it has to fit a couple of rules. And a couple of places on my body!

No matter what a slob I can be I always get total satisfaction and pride out of having a clean closet. Even if I am the only one that sees.

Last spring I spruced up my outdoor deck with the help of my son. We painted and stained and cleaned! It was well loved and used all summer and fall for barbeques, swimming, and just plain being lazy. Over the winter months it fell to the dustballs and spider webs and the collection of blown in leaves. Alot of the plants need snipping and repotting, and some of them just didn't survive. I have been trying to clean and ready this space to MOVE out here. I have some cool "party"lights to hang and then when I know that Texas won't have that one last infamous FREEZE I'll start dragging in plants! The weather is getting warm enough and the mornings are great out here with a cup of coffee. Wontcha come over and have a cup with me?

LEST YOU THINK I AM A LIAR.....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
IN OTHER NEWS...... I have the sweetest friend who lives on the edge of a beautiful place called SINGING WOODS. It is peaceful, tranquil, full of love, animals roam, and snow falls quietly. But, right now it's anything but tranquil in her heart. She is fighting cancer in the fight of her life. Yet, sometimes she is so courageous in her posts you forget that she is fighting. I think she is brave but she doesn't. She says she is scared. She says that she tries not to feel sorry for herself. She says she worries about her family and their place in all this madness called cancer. But, I say to her........."Hey ! It's alright to feel all those things. Hey ! It's alright to be scared and mad and have pity parties. It's ok. " I think that those things, those emotions, are what makes a true warrior and fighter. Because she has the strongest emotion of all on her side. LOVE. She shared this award with me today along with some of her other friends. Love you DEENA. Please pray for her everyday!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

One of my sweet daughters left today with 5 of her dear friends for a girls weekend to Savannah GA ! They were so excited. They have all kinds of plans including having lunch at Paula Deen's restaurant ! They know they will be in line for hours. They are a special group of girls. Pray for all the daddies left caring for the kids! I know my grandbabies and their Daddy have lots of plans ! SWEET DADS!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some of you have asked about my mom. She is doing much better everyday. Still a few little problems with getting back some energy but hey.....I have that too! Thanks for all your prayers.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Oh, and little Av is feeling much better too. She is back to her happy little self. Mean old teeth. Little J thrilled her mom by saying "Mama" today. OH......it's the simple things all along, isn't it?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My joys today:
Waking up and not having to go anywhere!
My family......
A sunny day
HGTV
Hot coffee
Plans to clean and energy to do it
Supper already ready to pop in the oven
HEALTH inside and out
Going to the gym later
Getting an award from Deena
I started out to the library this morning as is my usual Wednesday morning routine. When I got closer to the turn I noticed a lot of "activity" in the area. I mean come on. This is a one light town and if more than 2 cars are on the same street we call it a crowd. Well maybe not quite that dramatic but anyway. I knew right off what it was. I was disgusted!
You see, they are filiming another movie in MY town. A major one too. There are 2 very well known stars in it and one is a hunka hunka hunka. But, no names for now. Anyway. I thought to myself ...."Who does he think he is that we just bow to him! I can't even believe it." Aren't they just normal people after all?
Our police force was even out in full gear! We get excited over the little things here. Road blocks were up and all. Full uniform. Serious faces. I was not amused.
Evidently filming had started. "WHO CARES???" , I thought. For the last several weekends there had been all kinds of movie agents/casting people in town. Lines surrounded the city hall. My daddy and uncle even went and stood in line for an audition. And, my uncle got a call back! Children and pets were last weekend. Someone's dog got picked to be in the movie. Plus, numerous children in town got selected for extra parts. So the excitement was already brewing.
Camera crews were everywhere. People strolling along looking important.
Before long the word was out. All of a sudden this was similiar to the scene I saw. Not really but ..........
Then before I could park in front of the library my cell phone rang. It was Becky and she was hysterical. She was on her way to lunch, going the normal way, down a normal street, to have a normal lunch. She stopped at the road block and was disgusted at first like I was to be inconvenienced by stardom. When all of sudden she looked up and directly in "spitting" distance from her window he stood. HE WAS JUST STANDING THERE. He was a real human. He smiled. All dressed in full Navy dress blues holding an officer's cap. And her mouth fell open. He was between takes walking to the next scene sight with the movie directors.
I admit it. As friends we tend to get caught up in excitement together. Becky's excitement is contagious too. SHE SAW HIM! And I didn't. She even got a picture! OK. Since I have gotton home I have loaded my car with my camera and binoculars. I never could stand up to peer pressure.
I am sure by this time next week we will all be sitting in the middle of the block in neighboring yards looking similar to this.
"A BOY IS ALL GOD HAS WITH WHICH TO MAKE A MAN"
Twenty six years ago tonight I know right where I was and what I was doing. I was still in disbelief that I had a newborn son. I was propped up in the hospital bed gazing into the eyes of my newest little angel. A beautiful, bright eyed little boy who had already filled my heart to the brim with love. Who would be coming home to complete me as a mother and join his 2 sisters, in making my life a most enchanted one. After all these years have flown by he holds his own little child, and maybe now he has a glimmer of how much I love him. He has given me so many happy memories, so many years in the bleachers, so many laughs, so many jokes, so many bright spots in a dark world, so many proud moments as a young leader and child of God. He taught me much more than I think I ever taught him. It's not easy being a parent. But, that night 26 years ago all I could do was sit and stare at him. All in blue and all snuggled in my arms. If I could have a basket of wishes, one would be to recreate that night and make time slow down just a little. Happy Birthday Mitchell! I love you.
Wednesday, February 20, 2008
Somebody feels bad tonight. Even a bath with all Neena's kitchen utensils couldn't brighten up these eyes. Four teeth are coming in at one time! A runny nose and fever made her feel so bad along with that. It's look like a snuggle night. I can't wait.
I heard some rustling around on the deck this morning and looked through the door to see a little wren with a string and some mossy stuff in her mouth. I'm not sure but I think it is the same little "family" that finds my decorative bird houses a great place to live. I didn't go out for fear I'd frighten her off but I plan to investigate later. I love the thought that my little outdoor houses make a safe place to raise some babies! It looked like she actually chose the Texas boot house this year. GOOD CHOICE.
NO LIE
I admit it. I was feeling a little down one day. It seems like everyone had been sick. All the transitioning at church.....people moving.......searching for a new preacher.......Late winter blues......taxes........Life seemed hectic. Rushed. CRAZY. Which is really a normal day for me. I made myself drive into town to the post office to get my mail. Which usually means, I collected the last few days compilation of bills, mail order catalogs from places I can't afford, and junk. But, wait. I had a card that said, "DEAR BOX HOLDER....YOU HAVE A PACKAGE." OH... I said to myself. And promptly got in the line of our 1 window post office to collect. I got GOOD MAIL! My very first GOOD MAIL. Do you think I could wait until I got the 4 miles back home to peek?
It was so official to see the precious note from Holly. I was so excited. She is one of my D's BFF'S. And she is P.R.E.C.I.O.U.S.
Well, when I got all the way home, I worked for hours to set this up. Seriously, I did....but I am mental like that. Everything kept toppling over when I would get it just right. But, it was way too cute not to share. This girl is super talented. She MADE these cards that I will hate to send off. Everyone was "Oh this is my favorite." They were all my favorite! You know?
And then there was chocolate. Not just any chocolate either. Dark chocolate is HEART HEALTHY. Did you know that? Not, thigh healthy. Just heart healthy.
And then she reminded me of the real reason to live. In these cute little fortune cookies. What a day. Thanks Holly. I love you!
Home Is Where the List Is
I started to make a list of the things I need to accomplish this week. But, the list got long and I got discouraged. Again. It seems like the days are filled with too many "have to's" and not enough "want to's". We'll see how many I am able to cross off the list by noon. Being the world's biggest procrastinator doesn't help the situation. How do you get things done when you don't even know where to start?
1. I believe that if anything is worth doing, it would have been done already.
2. I shall never move quickly, except to avoid more work or find excuses.
3. I will never rush into a job without a lifetime of consideration.
4. I shall meet all of my deadlines directly in proportion to the amount of bodily injury I could expect to receive from missing them.
5. I firmly believe that tomorrow holds the possibility for new technologies, astounding discoveries, and a reprieve from my obligations.
6. I truly believe that all deadlines are unreasonable regardless of the amount of time given.
7. I shall never forget that the probability of a miracle, though infinitely small, is not exactly zero.
8. If at first I don't succeed, there is always next year.
9. I shall always decide not to decide, unless of course I decide to change my mind.
10. I shall always begin, start, initiate, take the first step, and/or write the first word, when I get around to it.
11. I obey the law of inverse excuses which demands that the greater the task to be done, the more insignificant the work that must be done prior to beginning the greater task.
12. I know that the work cycle is not plan/start/finish, but is wait/plan/plan.
13. I will never put off until tomorrow, what I can forget about forever.
this list borrowed from someone but very fitting
Anybody else?
This was the nursing staff I had after I got home on Friday. Don't I have it so good? I was never out of their sight.
It doesn't get any better, I tell you.
JUST a note from all my "wearing RED" "good cause supporting" "PRAYING warrior, friends from around everywhere. Four thirty AM came early but it's now seven PM and I am HOME. Initial reports were very good. I didn't even get to wear my sweet new comfy jammies. GREAT I'll enjoy them tonight.
My "procedure" is over and I am even home. There was not an additional stent added. Which right now is great. It was a long day but I understand I slept through most of it while my grown children, grandchildren, parents and dear friends entertained each other watching movies, laughing, visiting the hospital snack bars, and back and forth to my room! Poppi got in a few good naps all snuggled on the couch. Hubby kept a bedside wait with me and I am so grateful for him. The kids all got here last night so we were up late. Mitch came ALONE with baby Jaxon ( 6months old) after he got off work. We laughed because they unloaded with a "dirty diaper" and an ice chest FULL of frozen breast milk. I know JD ( her mommy ) is totally missing her today and it was a great sacrifice to let them come. They'll see her tomorrow though.
The doctor's final words to hubby and me was, "your heart looks great considering what it's been through." He said that he did see about 40% blockage in on of the arteries but it was not sufficient at this time to go through a more major surgery. He is still concerned about the breathlessness feeling I have been having and we will follow up on in the next weeks. I came home wearing a holter monitor which I have done before. It is a continous computurized EKG for 24 hours straight. Anytime I feel something weird I am supposed to push a button and hit a key describing time/place/activity/sensation. Pretty cool. He says we will get to the bottom of some of this and I think he meant it! For that I am glad.
SO, thanks for all your prayers especially. For thinking of me today. For my gal friends who supported me today wearing RED. My precious JD and the entire ACU LADY WILCAT softball team has been praying for me all week and wore red ribbon armbands at their tournament this weekend. I even got a picture of a blonde beauty princess who even supported a tag with my name on it! I am totally honored for that.....plus a huge crowd of her employees there wearing red. For privacy I won't share the pictures but they made me SMILE. I have gotton emails and cyber hugs ever since I got home tonight. I am so thankful.
