I admit it. When my kids were fairly young.....middle school maybe...........I handed them all a laundry basket and a box of Tide. I was tired of hunting socks, undies, and finding soggy towels under the curtains. We could go through 2 linen closets of towels in 1 day. Girls need more than one towel, you know. I could never catch up with the laundry. Now, I realize it's not possible. But, everyone was pretty much responsible for gathering up what they needed washed and if they needed it in 10 minutes they had to do it themselves. I was a MEAN OLD MOM. Hey, they all learned to sort colors and operate machinery at an early age. Now, I have a son who can wash and do laundry.

But, really. Don't you think my precious Tiny Princess is a little young to start hers? I loved this picture. She learned how to take the lid off her hamper. Her mommy said it looks like she is trying to say, "Hey, Mom you need to wash my onesies!"

Another weird connection. My oldest does his own laundry too. My youngest will learn after his birthday in June.
I too want sons who can function.

It's never too early to teach them to do laundry...and just last night she loaded the dish washer (I told her if she didn't start rinsing out her bottles when she was done with them I would make her load the washer...and she didn't listen). Just kidding...I wish I would get to come see everyone next weekend (I'll be praying though!)

I don't think princesses have to do laundry. That might be the point she is trying to make. They have their peeps for that. Her job is too look cute, and she's already very successful!

I checked out some of your links today. Was surprised to find that we both visit some of the same sites. Hope your week is going well. Mine isn't off to such a good start but hopefully there is no where to go but up!
