SERIOUS SUNDAY

As I think I mentioned in an earlier blog this is birthday month around our family. Today, my middle daughter is celebrating her 31st birthday. How can that be? How did she get to be my age? She was born to delight this mother from the first day. Words can not even begin to express how I feel about her. She is my daughter, a best friend, a great listener, a compassionate spirit, born to be a MOMMY like me, a treasured granddaughter, a sister's delight, a brother's headache and idol, and in her own words, "Yada yada yada yada". Everyone loves her. She leaves an imprint wherever she goes. God broke the mold with her, believe me. She has had me laughing from day one and she has had my heart that long and 9 months before. Love you Ash.

I have officially decided that I am starting a new tradition with my blog. I am deeming every Sunday to be SERIOUS SUNDAY. Every Wednesday will be WORDLESS WEDNESDAY and on Friday's I'll share FUNNY FRIDAY.

It gives me a little more "aim" in my aimless mind. I can concentrate on making more sense than just rambling. I read some really great blog sites. I have made some "invisible" friends that I feel like I could just sit down and have a cup of coffee and start talking about anything. These people always make sense. They have topics and real thoughts. I read some great spiritual ones that uplift me and help me stumble around a little more toward Heaven. They analyze and question and make me do the same. I love parallels and some of my friends use them alot. Some of the ones I read are just totally hilarious and I sit here and crack up all alone at my little computer. I have already seen alot of blogs with the WORDLESS WEDNESDAY concept. You post a picture, any picture and say nothing. It's neat because you can just think whatever you want in the middle of the week. Draw your own opinion or thought about the picture. I love photography so it's a way to share some of my pictures with you sometime. I just think it's a neat "middle of the road" for me to express both sides of me. The spiritual and the funny. I have discovered this all since I retired. Aren't I getting clever?

Oh, and I messed around with all my Blogger tools last night and made a mess. There are crazy lines everywhere from my end. I checked some stuff and don't know why or what. I don't know how to fix what I did. I don't even know what I did. I haven't gotton a comment one in since I did it and I don't know if everyone is on vacation or if I checked something that kept you from that. I usually learn by just getting in and doing stuff but this time it didn't work. HELP. Are there any 4 year olds out there that can help? It usually takes a child to teach me the computer, the cell phone, the remote, and anything else mechanical. I have had my car since 2004 and just found out a few weeks ago, from my ROOSTER, some of the gadgets and gizmos I had on it. I never knew. I never would have known. I was born in the wrong time. Give me the simple life. I already have the simple mind.
