I Was Paying Attention Mrs. Adams!

I love English, grammar, and writing. I love all the thought processes and the story starters. When I learned to type (and I am fast, thanks Mrs. A'cik for sitting me by the boys in typing. I had to type fast because they kept pulling my paper out of the typewriter ) the words in my brain started coming out of my fingertips. My biggest fault in my writing is that I write like I talk. Too fast ,scattered and random! I am going to be working on that organization. Because you know what? My high school English teacher reads my blog! Do you know how fun it is to be grown and still get an A + ? I used to "help" write all my own kids and their friends research papers. Ashley says that when she was in high school, my alma mater too, everytime she turned in a writing assigment the teacher would say, "Tell your mom she did good again!" But, Mrs. Adams, or Connie as she is now known to me, is the one who always encouraged me about my writing and being creative. Not only did she encourage my writing but she has encouraged a lot of my spiritual gifts. On more than one occasion, I have spoken publicly at some of our women's retreats. She fought over a front row seat with my mother. I didn't know who to smile at first!

So, all my blogger friends, thanks for being in my invisible world. Your encouragement spoken or unspoken is felt. Sometimes the comments are more fun than the post! So as we say in Texas, "Yall don't be strangers now, ya hear?"

Sometimes there is just not enough time to read and comment...but I am reading and enjoying...

Y'all come see us, we'll show you how poor people live!

You sound a little desperate for comments, Mom. ha ha.

Its a mood thing. You have to be in a certain mood to comment. AND..on your own free will.

:) Love you.

Oh, I don't mean to sound desperate for comments. Not at all. I love the commenters I have! It just is that sometimes it is more fun to read the comments than the post!

I would absolutely DIE if my English teacher read my blog!! I most certainly wouldn't get an A+. I have been amazed at some of the people who have found me on the web though and occasionally comment! It is pretty cool!

We do want Macy to add a post this week...but keep up the blogging, Sista. You are doing a mighty fine job. And thanks for mentioning Mrs. A...she was a wonderful English/Speech teacher as well as the other Mrs. A who was a wonderful typing teacher. Such good memories at good 'ole SHS. Love you, JoJo
